The cheetah is the fastest animal of all, running at exactly 114 km per hour. But from so much effort and overheating, it quickly becomes exhausted, making it vulnerable to other predators waiting to snatch its prey.
For me, it represents the state of vulnerability that comes from giving our all, the fatigue that comes after pushing ourselves to the limit, whether after a loss or a success.

CENTAUR
The Centaur is half man and half animal, representing the rational and the instinctive in the same being. He is a strong character, often chaotic and barbaric, but also sensitive, harmonious, and wise. Sometimes life moves so fast that we can barely hold on to it. Sometimes it goes from being a pleasant stroll to an intense and confusing race. That is the duality of chaos and confusion with sensitivity and that harmonious wisdom that ends up saving us when we think we would fall into total perdition.
This work represents the vulnerability that exists in that thin line that separates us at these two extremes.

WOLF
We tend to think of wolves as solitary animals, but they need their pack to survive. Without their social group, they are vulnerable, find it more difficult to hunt alone, and need each other to care for their young. For example, the female wolf may wrap her partner’s neck to protect his most vulnerable part.
This is why I chose the wolf to represent the vulnerability we accept when we love and depend on a family or partner, since our own well-being is linked to others.

For me, this work symbolizes the desire to save ourselves, to recognize our very human vulnerability, and to be able to transform it into something good through creativity and beauty in order to escape gloriously from its clutches.
